Cindy Marshall is an expert in direct marketing, having spent the last 25 years helping retailers maximize offline and online sales to achieve best practices in e-commerce platforms and channels. As a transformational, visionary and innovative leader with deep functional expertise in e-commerce, catalog and retail store marketing, Cindy has held senior-level positions at Merkle, Performance Bicycle, Exclusively Weddings, The Vermont Country Store, Ross-Simons, eZiba.com, L.L.Bean, Appleseeds, J.Jill and Inc. Magazine. She currently runs SHINE Strategy, a retail consulting firm with an impressive client list of National Geographic, Vera Bradley, Orvis, Brooks Brothers, Boston Globe, SmartPak and Boden USA. In 2011, Cindy was named one of Retail Online Integration’s (now Total Retail) Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail. She led NEMOA (National Etailing and Mailing Organization of America) as president from 2012-2014, overseeing its largest growth period for conference attendance, membership and sponsorship. Cindy remains an active NEMOA board member, helping with content and conference planning. Cindy has held several advisory roles with e-commerce and analytics companies, and is currently an advisor to Continuum, a managed print services leader.
