Elie Donahue is the vice president of marketing at Rothy’s, leading product, brand and content marketing at the wildly popular San Francisco-based shoe company.
Inspired by both the go-getter Rothy’s customer and the brand’s incredible everyday flats, Elie is proud to create experiences for women to connect in new, surprising ways with Rothy’s community and products.
On her journey to Rothy’s Elie worked in brand building at Kiehl’s, Benefit Cosmetics and Yes To, Inc., where she crystalized her passion for empowering women to explore new things and feel confident.She shifted to the world of retail with a role in integrated marketing at Sephora, telling brand-driven stories across digital and physical customer touchpoints.
After a decade of experience in the beauty industry, and prior to joining the Rothy’s team in 2018, Elie moved to Pinterest. She served as head of marketing at the technology company for more than two years.
Elie holds both a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Stanford University, where she played soccer during her undergraduate years. She later helped to train the then-new Egyptian women’s soccer team, and played professionally for the Boston Breakers.
